St Michael's Hospice supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss.
They identify what matters most to patients and families, what’s making life difficult for them, including worries and concerns. They then create a care and support plan that can be adapted when things change.
Their services are provided via in-patient beds and at home and we also offer Wellbeing support, both out-patient and virtual. Expert bereavement support is available for anyone struggling to come to terms with the death of a loved one.
They also recognise the community’s role in supporting those nearing the end of life and play their part in building supportive neighbourhood networks via their compassionate communities work.
We work directly with St Michael's Hospice as we are almost next door! Our Rector Father David is Honorary Chaplain.
